perfect base for exploring shakespeare's birthplaces and beautiful parks

during my stay, I found the room to be a good size with a large comfortable bed, and it was great being just a short stroll away from Shakespeare's Birthplace and the nearby scenic parks, allowing me to immerse myself in both culture and nature.

Excellent Location and Comfy Stay

I enjoyed my time here, especially the riverside terrace where we had drinks with beautiful views. The extensive breakfast options were fantastic, with fresh choices including various pastries and fruits that were constantly restocked. I found the hallway noise a bit disruptive at times as it made it hard to fully relax in our room.

however, the wifi was really bad, almost unusable and the shower pressure was super weak. that was kinda frustrating.

Additionally, maintenance was lacking, with the TV malfunctioning and the room needing a serious clean-up due to visible dust and cobwebs.

Comfortable and spacious room with excellent large beds. The modern decor added a cozy touch, and the hotel location is perfect—just a short walk to local attractions and shops. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel welcomed.

The parking fee is a bit of a drawback.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-upon-Avon was enjoyable, highlighted by the fantastic outdoor terrace and the excellent breakfast options. Although the air conditioning in my room struggled, the beautiful surroundings more than made up for it.

Check-in felt like an eternity, stretching over 20 minutes, with guests anxiously waiting around. The parking situation is head-scratching. a £10 fee for something many assume is included in their stay. The air conditioning struggled to deliver a cool breeze, turning my room unwelcome during warmer nights. I highly suspect that minor room cleanliness issues, like dusty corners and a couple of unkempt glasses, slipped through before my arrival. Also, the layout of lights and mirrors in the bathroom made grooming a real challenge.

i had an amazing stay this time at the hotel. the breakfast was fantastic with freshly baked croissants and a variety of organic juices. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center, which made exploring strattford-upon-avon easy.

the air conditioning didn’t work properly.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short stroll along the River Avon to the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Swan Theatre. Our rooms were clean, and we enjoyed the nice atmosphere and friendly service from the staff, making our stay enjoyable with our grown kids.

In my wife’s opinion, the restaurant wait was frustrating at dinner as we had to queue despite having a reservation.
